To anyone who knows Rob (Robby) Decosta (DeCosta Handyman Services) up until 3 months ago he had his own business working hard 8-10 hrs a day then stopping at someone's house to help hang a door or replace a ceiling or even clean a pool! He helps EVERYONE! He needs our help now. In June while at work he felt a sharp pain in his upper left jaw he didn't think too much about it until he ended up in the ER the next day because the pain was so bad. He was sent to an oral surgeon who immediately sent him for a biopsy at Boston Medical. It turns out he had mouth cancer. On Aug 14 he had a 12 hour surgery to remove his upper left jaw his sinuses and lymphnodes. He spent 8 days in ICU with a feeding tube and a tracheotomy and will start radiation in a cpl of weeks. He's had to close his business temporarily while he concentrates on his long road to recovery. He'll be unable to work for over a year while he heals and has all his treatments . I'm hoping by setting up this fund he'll be able to keep up with his bills (rent, storage, insurance etc.) He's already been out of work for 3 months now.
