Rob Cooksey Memorial Fund

Rob Cooksey passed away on Friday, February 9th.
Rob was a great friend to many, many people throughout his life. While many of us may have lost touch with Rob over the years, that does not diminish the impact his friendship had on us all. I, as I'm sure many others, can say he was a big part of some of the best times of my young life.
Rob passed away with no means of support to cover his final arrangements and as I type this lies unclaimed in Harford. Jody Keane, Heather Marcham (Harer) and I have teamed up in an effort to make sure Rob is laid to rest with the dignity and caring that he deserves.
We're not exactly sure what the funeral expenses will be. Heather's family has generously volunteered the plot located next Jeff Marcham, a dear friend to many of us, including Rob. If this works out, I believe it will be the best possible outcome to a very sad event, and I would like to think Rob would approve.
We're asking for friends of Rob to donate to this gofundme account that we have set up in his honor, to offset burial expenses. All proceeds will go towards Rob funeral arrangements, including a marker stone.
We set $3,000 as a goal, alothough we don't know how much this will cost yet. If we raise more then is required for burial expenses, all remaining funds will be allocated towards a get together of friends, in Rob's honor. If there are any remaining funds after that, we will donate to an appropriate charity in Rob's name.
