Milan Goes to South Africa

I'm raising funds to support my research/internship in South Africa. This internship will be another step torward the lion behaviorist career that I want. I am so excited about all the adventures on this journey.
I will be going for 3 months this summer/fall and participating in several programs through Enkosini. A total of three conservation experiences include working with the Great White Shark Project, Makalali Game Reserve, and CARE Baboon Sanctuary.
-With the Great White Shark Project, I will be cage diving with Great White Sharks, helping with data collection for field research on Great White Sharks, and learning basic seamanship.
-The next month will be spent in part with Makalali Game Reserve, learning about elephant population influences, learning about predator/prey management in small reserves, and reserve maintenance. This time will be split with the Siyafunda Bush Experience and I will be living in the African bush for two weeks tracking animals, learning survival skills, and learning about biodiversity conservation (the practice of protecting and preserving all species).
-At the CARE Baboon Sanctuary, for the final month, I will be helping with animal sanctuary maintenance, learning about exotic animal care hands-on, and helping to raise the youngest of the baboons.
