Roaring for Life Funded Places

Donation protected
Working in my private practice and being the mum of two daughters I have seen first- hand how support in the areas of self- esteem and self- acceptance is vital to mental wellness and allowing our young people to shine and thrive.

Sadly this support is always available through lack of resources, lack of funds or simply lack of someone having them in their sights to sign post it.

The Foundation has been set up to help bridge this gap. Our long- term goal is to provide a range of programs and workshops which are all about creating a stable platform of self esteem.

Currently, our first program Roaring 4 Life is aimed at young women aged 11 through 18. It focuses on building healthy relationships with self and others, creating boundaries, understanding how to be accepting of ourselves and who we are.

We tackle topics such as social media influence, body image, bullying as well as supporting recovery from anxiety and associated
symptoms.

Having trialled workshops in schools before COVID 19 and seen my 121 program work in the private practice we are now looking to offer both 121- funded placements and when possible face to face talks and workshops in the education sector and organisations that support mental health for young people.

Our goal this year is to provide 10 fully funded 121 placements on the Roaring 4 Life program with me.

To select and train 2 further coaches to be able to provide further placements.

To have the ability and resources to start talking to organisations and providing group support.

To launch our own dedicated website and resource centre providing much- needed information on a range of topics for both young people and parents/carers

Your donation will help us make this possible - changing lives and raising confidence. Helping young women see that they can achieve and
create a present and future in which they shine bright.

The Foundation is committed:
To providing and supporting a stable platform of self esteem and confidence for young people.

To creating safe spaces in which to talk about life challenges and opportunities.

We do this through working with charitable organisations and education settings – using workshops and talks to reach our audiences.
