New Life Roadrunner Ranch Ministries

We are an after-care/re-entry program that is designed to serve as a bridge between the completion of Teen Challenge and the harshness of reality that awaits graduates. We use education, accountability, mentorship, life-style development, and personal progression programs to aid students in the continued growth and maturation gleaned from Teen Challenge.  We take the new models of clay that have been created by God through their rehabilitation, and foster, steward, and prepare students to successfully walk out their purpose and life goals.  We whole-heartedly believe in Teen Challenge and the anointing God has on their ministry, and we will use our vision to enhance the transformation that our students discovered through their journey. Our goal is to see our students walk out their dreams, visions, goals, and callings uniquely so that their life may be an everlasting testament to Daddy God.

MISSION STATEMENT:  To actively live out the call of 1 Corinthians 9:24 by providing successful post-recovery support for men recovered from destructive, abusive, and addictive lifestyles through mentoring , training, education, and spiritual direction

PROGRAM GOAL: To facilitate the growth of Godly character in young men as they pursue their dreams

Our Vision:  The Vision of New Life Roadrunner Ranch Ministries is to bring hope, encouragement, and empowerment to people who have struggled with life controlling decisions and habits.  We seek to be a bridge for people aiming to overcome their life controlling habits.

Who we are:  We are an organization established to educate and assist persons that have completed an intensive, addiction treatment program.  We will foster their newly-acquired experiences and knowledge in a safe, family oriented environment that allows our residents the freedom and opportunity to grow in their ability to successfully live independently.

Program Priorities:  The mainstays of our program are higher education and development. We will use schooling to ink self-motivation and purpose into the DNA of our students, challenging them to use this new DNA to walk out their calling.  We also believe that mentorship is vital to the success of anyone, but even more so for people who are young in their faith. The students will receive consistent mentorship from people of influence in the surrounding communities, as well as use several programs created for personal development.

Quest: All participants will be required to go on a 5 ½ day retreat, spent chasing after the face of God. Students will gain invaluable personal insight, as well as life changing personal discovery of their true identity and how to walk this identity out. This event is an absolute game changer. By “coming away” with Christ for five intense days of God-seeking, self-searching, and spiritual training, the Quest ministry works to unlock the hearts of men. Quest uses biblical truths to show men how to “have life to the fullest.” Our destiny is found in unlocking the passionate heart placed in men from the beginning of time.

Program Details and Founding Principles:

1.)    Christian Development - Students will live in a home-like setting where they will be challenged daily in their walk with Christ. We will push our students through every day things such daily devotions, journaling, and book studies, while also inviting development through true brotherhood, hard questions and conversations, a standard of excellence in behavior,  encouragement to push through spiritual growing pains, and challenges to walk in their true identity.  “Works Of The LawBelief In GodRepentance And ForgivenessDoctrines of the The GospelRestored In Jesus ChristBeginning To TeachPerfection, HumanProgressCharismatic IssuesBecoming An AdultMan's Conduct Towards GodSpiritual GrowthTherefore leaving the elementary teaching about the Christ, let us press on to maturity, not laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God.” Hebrews 6:1

2.)    Accountability - Students will be challenged to excel in schooling, Christian growth, and living in community.  We will encourage our participants to be transparent in every aspect and area of their life. Darkness is the absence of light and it cannot exist within itself, by itself. Therefore, we will urge our students to live life out in fearless honesty. We will facilitate several different practices and opportunities that will allow the participants the ability to practice and walk out what healthy transparency and accountability look like. “Iron sharpens iron as one man sharpens another.” Proverbs 27:17

3.)    Manhood Development - Students will take an active part in working on the 65-acre ranch, learning skills such as ranching, construction, basic maintenance, and repair.  Leadership will also play a large role in their manhood development. We believe that the acquisition of “handy man” skills is vitally important. We will see to it that the young men have numerous opportunities to learn about and gain new skills pertaining to working with their hands, thus installing a mentality of self-determination and self-motivation.  “When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as-as child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things.” 1 Corinthians 13:11

4.)    Schooling - All students will be required to attend Paris Junior College or Texas A&M Commerce in a full-time capacity either studying academia or a trade.  Students will be challenged to succeed in each area of study. We believe education can be the key that opens the flood gates. Whether in academia or trade, we want out students to be able to work towards their life calling by acquiring the knowledge needed to walk this out.  “How much better to get wisdom than gold!  To get understanding is to be chosen rather than silver.” Proverbs 16:16

5.)    Mentorship - As a young man grows into a true man of God it is important to surround himself with men of strong Christian character.  We will strive to surround these students with Godly men from the church and community. We will not leave these young men alone. Having older, wiser, caring men who are investing in their lives, is a priceless comfort. We will have guest speakers who will challenge our men but also serve as an example and encouragement.  “I will instruct you and show you the way to go; with my eye on you, I will give counsel.” Psalms 32:8

6.)    Outdoor Activities - Our Father God has created a beautiful playground for His children to enjoy.  The staff at the ranch believe in enjoying the great outdoors and will challenge the students in pushing themselves to explore God’s creation. We want our young men to use God’s playground as an opportunity to seek adventure while also using it as a place to hear and see God. There will be several trips throughout the year that will allow for the participants to explore, discover, development, and grow. “For you shall go out with joy, and be led out with peace; the mountains and the hills shall break forth into singing before you, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.” Isaiah 55:12
