Road to Recovery for Paul Armbrust

Donation protected
Paul Armbrust is the kind of guy that would take the shirt off his back to help someone in need, but now he is the one that needs help. He suffered a lung infection in February of 2020. Then in March Covid struck. As a self employed construction company owner who has no health insurance, his income ability has dried up. On top of this, his roommate moved out thus doubling his rent. On May 31, Paul was in ICU at Louisville, Colorado hospital diagnosed with Congestive Heart Failure. His heart was working at 1/3 capacity, his oxygen levels were dangerously low, and his blood pressure and heart rate were dangerously high. Paul left ICU after 6 days with strict orders from the doctors to keep stress levels low, to monitor meds, activities, and diet closely. He is to diligently maintain all evaluations, treatments, and doctor visits. His lease ends June 30, so he must move. This would all be very difficult even in normal situations, but the rug of any stability has been yanked from under him. Cost of living in the Boulder area is very high. Paul is getting help from Medicaid for medical bills, but he must stay in the area until he stabilizes. Help would be greatly appreciated at this time to cover basic living expenses while he is unable to work.
