<div>I am a 9-time Romanian Champion in Figure Skating, I am representing Romania for 14 years and it is my absolute dream to qualify in the upcoming World Championships in Boston this upcoming March to go get an Olympic Sport for Romania. I am nothing but proud to represent my Country and I am more than grateful for everyone who has helped me in the past and is also helping me right now to go achieve my ultimate Goal.

<div>I am unfortunately put in a very very difficult situation once again.. after finishing the 3rd time in a row in the Top10 at Europeans I would have assumed to have financial support to cover my expenses for my Team and me to go to the World Champions 2025 in less than 3 weeks..

<div>It is still the same situation as it was 3 years ago, maybe we will help you, maybe not, you don't have the passport so actually we can't help you, the federation still has not resolved the problem thats why we don't want to help you and so on and so on.

<div>(which I was told when I sent in all the paperwork for the passport which I did a year ago, they will support me, which apparently is not true again)
</div>
<div>I understand every reasoning why it is so difficult but at the end of the day I am the athlete who has been suffering for 14 years now.
</div>
<div>I should be concentrating in preparing for the best way to go make my goal happening but I have a hard time falling asleep not knowing if I will get the support or not.
</div>
<div>I hope with this fundraiser the authorities will realize how stressful, hard and sad it is for their athlete to go and ask for help. I need to find a quick solution so I can concentrate on working towards my goals.

<div>Sunt Julia Sauter, patinatoare şi deţinătoare a nouă titluri de campioană a României la patinaj artistic. Reprezint România în competiţiile de patinaj din anul 2012 şi visul meu cel mai preţios e să obţin, pentru România, calificarea la Jocurile Olimpice de anul viitor de la Milano-Cortina. Calificarea se decide la Boston, la Campionatele Mondiale de anul acesta, în perioada 25-30 martie.

<div>Reprezint cu mândrie România şi sunt extrem de recunoscătoare tuturor celor care m-au sprijinit pe parcursul acestor ani. Şi vă cer încă o dată sprijinul pentru a-mi îndeplini acest vis.

<div>Mă găsesc, din nou, într-o situaţie extrem de dificilă: chiar dacă m-am clasat, trei ani la rând, în Top 10 la Campionatele Europene de Patinaj Artistic, rezultate istorice pentru România, nu am în acest moment certitudinea că eu şi echipa mea vom primi susţinerea financiară necesară deplasării la Campionatele Mondiale de Patinaj Artistic de la Boston, din Statele Unite.

<div>Cu mai puţin de o lună înainte de plecarea la Boston, răspunsurile pe care le primesc sunt creatoare de stres şi nesiguranţă: „Federaţia de patinaj încă nu şi-a rezolvat problemele juridice, de aceea nu te putem ajuta”; „Nu ai încă paşaport românesc, deci nu te putem ajuta...”

<div>Înţeleg foarte bine toate aceste explicaţii, e o situaţie asupra căreia nu am absolut niciun control – dar trebuie să existe soluţii chiar şi în aceste cazuri. La urma urmei, atletul e cel care suferă şi e cu totul şi cu totul stresant să nu ştii la ce să te aştepţi, pe ce poţi conta, dacă poţi conta etc.

<div>În acest moment al sezonului şi cu privirea spre Boston, ar trebui să mă concentrez pe antrenamente, pe pregătire, pe modalităţile prin care-mi pot atinge ţintele sportive. Or, eu nu pot să dorm pentru că nu ştiu dacă voi avea resursele financiare necesare pentru a merge la Mondiale.

<div>Acestea sunt motivele iniţierii unei campanii de strângere de fonduri şi sper din toată inima că autorităţile vor realiza cât de stresant, trist, dificil e pentru un atlet să recurgă la această soluţie, să ceară ajutor.

<div>Toate donaţiile vor fi folosite pentru acoperirea cheltuielilor de deplasare la Campionatele Mondiale, dar şi la o competiţie pregătitoare, în Polonia, peste două săptămâni.
