❤ Molly's Surgery ❤

So Lala is once again selling pupusas. (If you've never had one, you must try it. It is "a thick corn tortilla with different fillings such as cheese, beans and pork paired with tomato salsa and pickled cabbage.") She is selling pupusas to help raise money, because even though she has a regular job, it's not enough. She lives alone, it's Cali, and she has a ton of college debt. But Lala is in love and will do anything to get her baby Molly well.

Molly is an English bulldog and will be three in November. Lala got Molly in March because someone offered her to Lala's brother and he in turn called Lala. Molly has an infection on her tail. (Dogs with curly tails tend to get infections in their tail area either because of their tightly curled tail or because skin folds form. These areas remain moist and are difficult to keep clean. They're also often exposed to fecal matter. Ideal conditions for bacteria and fungi to thrive in.) Molly has a corkscrew tail which leads to several pockets that continue getting infected, and she needs surgery to remove the end of her tail that twists with the vertebrae (a partial amputation).

When Lala first got Molly she noticed that she had a foxtail under her skin and her tail was infected. She took her to a vet multiple times and Molly had surgery to remove the foxtail. The vet continued to give her the same antibacterial wipes which did not help. Lala has already spent $1000 in medical costs for Molly. She has used meds and kept her tail area clean but to no avail. So her next option, after visiting a new vet, is this surgery which is estimated to cost $750.

Her other option is total tail removal but they won't even quote that and it requires they have a specialist come in. Lala has researched this option and it seems to be $3000-5000 on the low end. I almost wish she could get the tail removal because they say they can't guarantee it won't happen again.

Lala is like another daughter to me and I'm proud to call her my friend. I would really love to help her with this GoFundMe. Please help Lala take care of her baby Molly and get her tail wagging again.
