Our family has just received very devastating news about our daughter.

Our daughter, Jodie Burdick Indrebo has been diagnosed with malignant breast cancer. She is scheduling for a mastectomy as soon as she can get her affairs  in order.
It took some humbling for us to reach out to all of our friends and family, but we feel it’s the best thing we can do to help her and her family get through this.

She just got back on her feet with a new job that she loves. Her awesome boyfriend asked her to marry him last month. A very loving man with young boys that she takes care of and loves very much. This will be devastating to them because she will have to stop working to go through the surgery. They were in the process of preparing to move, which can’t happen now. We can not imagine her coming home from the hospital and being in a place that is not conducive to a great recovery.

They live in Modesto quite a distance from her son and they live away from close friends and family and her husband to be will not be able to take off work to take care of her. He will be the sole support of a family of 5. Of course Jane and I can go and help after her surgery.
Our goal is to help take some off the stress that comes with cancer off their plate as she recovers.
We are asking you to help them so financially they can have time to heal in a place that is peaceful, comfortable and healing. These are the most important things for staying positive while fighting this Cancer.
She is still in total shock from the news. It has been a tough year for her with many setbacks and hurt. We realize at this time that we have a small window of time to help them get prepared to fight this battle.

Our prayers are for this Crapy Cancer to not have reached the lymph nodes. We together with our friends and family can help at this time to get them in a space where they won’t have to worry about where the food, rent and helping hands are going to come from.
We thank you from deep in our hearts.
