RN against QANON legal fees. Stop the hate.
Foolish me, I thought I could engage with a group of Trump (QANON actually) supporters to ask why they would take down “Thank You 1st responder” signs after the CZU fire which my two sons and I spent 10 days working hard to save lives and properties as volunteers, my sons as fire, me as the high Risk Medical Shelter Nurse Practitioner
Within the next few moments, I was attacked verbally and physically by this group. Out of fear for my life as I was trying to leave, I threw something to get them to back away after being struck in the head with a rock and then a flagpole.
Over the next 10 days, they posted doctored video, all of my personal info including the description of my car, my nursing license numbers with more than 30 complaints to the Board of Registered Nursing, my employers address, posted death and violent threats against me. I stayed in hiding for 2 weeks, had to borrow a car for 3 months, hire security guards to come and leave from work for a month, and now to hire attorneys for the charges they filed against me (the sheriff refused my request to file charges since I didn’t know their names or have video documenting the attack).
I’ve been a nurse for 36 years. I have 2 sons in college I support as a single mom. The fear and hurt that I could lose my
career because I dared to ask angry Trump supporters a question is devastating.
I love being a nurse practitioner and caring for people. I’ve been volunteering for the Covid Team as a Contact Tracer, I love mentoring my children’s friends who want to know about entering the career. I support everyone’s right to their political opinion, but this group has taken it to a level of violence and destruction of my life and career

me protect the privilege of serving mankind for another 10 years At least.
as an update, I so appreciate the shares via text or email. I don’t trust Facebook, Twitter, or any of the other social media platform. It was used to spread the hate like wildfire and I fear being trolled again. Please don’t share via Facebook. My gratitude for the immense blessings of help so far is deep.
