Ryan M. Salamone Memorial Scholarship

Ryan Michael Salamone passed away suddenly on Tuesday, July 23, 2013 from an unknown heart condition. Ryan was born December 21, 1988 and he attended CBA, graduated from Scotia Glenville High School and attended Hudson Valley Community College. He was currently pursuing a career in Nano Technology Sciences. Ryan earned a third degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do and was involved in boy scouting. Ryan enjoyed snowboarding, snowmobiling, cars, motorcycles and was an avid photographer. An annual memorial scholarship is being created as an opportunity for a graduating high school student who exhibits traits of Ryan's character and aptitude for technology and/or aesthetic design. The applicants will submit a short essay highlighting their similarities to Ryan's personality and ambitions. Applicants will be selected by his friends and family.
