Smile Orchestra

The "Smile Orchestra" was born in 2016. It is a typical swing orchestra of the years ‘40, with a classic repertoire of the Swing American Masters like Glen Miller, Benny Goodman and Duke Ellington. The "Smile Orchestra" acquired quite some experience in a number of concerts performed in prestigious locations like the Italian Air Force Historic Museum in Vigna di Valle in Bracciano (Rome), the Club of Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Rome) and some main events sponsored by the Italian Minister of Culture and Tourism, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Minister of Defense, EU Parliament, EU Commission Italy Office, and UNESCO. In such performances the "Smile Orchestra" has achieved a growing recognition both by the audience and well- known jazz musicians. In addition to concerts, the "Smile Orchestra" is also active in projects having the scope of solidarity and social collaboration to promote and develop the culture of music: that’s the reason of its name ‘the orchestra of the smile’ an ‘ensemble’ of swing and solidarity.
