Help Lily Get the Medical Care She Needs
Donation protected
My name is Hannah, and I’m raising money for my cat, Lily. I’ve had Lily for over half of my life now, she’s 15 years old but barely looks it. Over the past week, she suddenly stopped eating as much, which isn’t like her. If you know Lily, you know she loves food. (She used to be 20lbs until we started dieting and “working out”). She’s not showing any other signs of decline, injury, or depression. I took her to the emergency veterinary clinic on Sunday 7/28/24 around midnight, and unfortunately without doing bloodwork, X-rays, and more they can’t tell for sure what’s going on with her. It’s possible she’s just dealing with a bad case of arthritis, but it’s hard to tell. I have a follow up scheduled with her normal vet for next week that will have testing including bloodwork, but I’ve already spent close to $200 on her health right now as is. I have a household of 3 children, and I’m using every extra dollar that I have that isn’t going towards my kids, to help Lily right now. I’m not the type of person to ask for help, but I’m concerned for what further medical bills will be for her and what I can afford. She has so much more life to give and I’m scared of how much the cost will end up. I’m not able to get approved for big loans, so I have to pay out of pocket at the moment. Thank you for reading.
