Helping Hercules

Hercules is my moms dog who we just found out needs surgery to repair his ACL. This surgery will cost $6000.
He means everything to my mom, and losing him would be devastating. She is currently faced with the reality of of the situation - the surgery is unaffordable after the year we have all had. I thought I would try making a go fund me because she’s one who really hates to ask for help.
My mom is an amazing and caring person. she is a part of the Bikers against Bullying organization. Every year she helps with food drives for people in need, and every Christmas she helps a family of 4-5 people by supply food and gifts to make their holiday more enjoyable. She is a full time nurse who works with our elders. She supports them and makes sure they do not feel alone during this pandemic. She helps them to smile and laugh even when they are missing their loved ones that are not able to visit. Hercules helps my mom with this, she brings him around so everyone can still get some love and cuddles. My mom lives alone and Hercules is extremely important to her.
Hercules is a 4 year old mastiff mix and without this surgery he will continue to worsen and be in more pain. In those 4 years he’s had a great life but he’s still so young and has so many more years left to go
