Mollie Tyler, the daughter of Caliem Morris and Stacy Tyler, is an active teenager who loves her family, friends, acting, and having fun. She’s an amazing singer and performer. Never met a stranger, she’s always ready to join in and help others. She helps her large family of seven keep with their busy schedules by watching her younger brother and sister.

Mollie has also dealt with a serious medical condition her entire life with complete grace, even though she has had to be careful with how physically active she is. She has pulmonary stenosis which has required her, typically yearly, to have a procedure called cardiac catheterization where they do a ballon dilation to stretch the pulmonary valve.

They recently discovered that she also has a hole in her heart that cannot be repaired by cardiac catheterization. She has been referred to a pediatric heart surgeon in California to have heart surgery. She will have surgery January 10, 2018.

Not only is heart surgery terrifying, this family of seven will have to travel from Jonesboro, Arkansas to California for 5 days prior to surgery and stay there for approximately 5 weeks. Heart surgery would be extremely expensive alone but traveling to California for heart surgery is unbelievably financially devastating.
