RJ's military fund

As so many of you know, our son Russell Larsen volunteered and joined the Army in January.  After 7 months of completing basic combat training,  airborne training and work with the 75th Ranger Regiment, he will be stationed in Achorage Alaska with the  4th Brigade of the 25th Airborne Infantry Division.  He was going to make the 72 hour drive, but after much consideration it was determined that his  1999 GMC Sierra truck will not make it to Achorage and it would cost more than the truck is worth to ship it.  So his new plan was to fly to Achorage and purchase a used vehicle once he arrives.  Over the past two days, Russell has completed so many loan applications with all of them being rejected because he doesn't make enough money in the military to even qualify for an automobile loan.  Here is a young man 24 years old, willing to give his life for this country and no lending company is willing to give him an auto loan.  But the saddest part to me is that the military pays them so little that he can not even qualify for the loan.  Without a single complaint he sits here continuing to apply feeling positive that someone will give him a loan, taking into consideration the job he is doing.  Please help me show Russell how much we appreciate his willingness to make the ultimate sacrifice and help me raise the funds to purchase him a vehicle.
