Rick Goens COVID 19 Diagnosis

Rick and Gerri Goens unfortunately met COVID-19 in November.  While Gerri has made it through, her husband Rick is not doing well.  As a friend, neighbor and sister in Christ, I am trying to help the financial burden.  Rick has been on a ventilator in ICU for several weeks now.  All prayers and donations are most deeply appreciated.  Below is the latest Post from Gerri on Ricks condition:   “The surgeon called me this morning. He said that Rick’s lung function has declined. They are going to restart the blood thinners and started more steroids yesterday.  The Doctor said that he is very sick and in his words ‘HE IS NOT DOING GREAT’.  They are going to wait a few more days and then see if they can perform the surgery.  Right now he is not stable enough to attempt it and he believes he would not survive the surgery.  He said that they have done everything they can do for Rick at this point, he said all we can do know is hope and pray that he improves enough to do the tracheostomy.  God has a plan and he is in control.  Man can’t do anymore but God has the final word.  Written by Gerri Goens 12-8-20
