I Really Need Your Help!
We qualified for the National Championships!!
My name is John Duker and I coach soccer for the Kansas City Soccer Club located here in Kansas City. We are a team, representing the state of Kansas, that has qualified for the Presidents Cup National Championships in Sacramento, CA to be held July 12th through the 15th 2012. This tournament will result in a National Presidents Cup Champion that can say they were the best in all of the country in this tournament series.
It has been an incredible journey to make it to Sacramento. First every state had a tournament to crown a State Champion with over 2,000 teams being eligible to participate in their State qualifier. After winning state, which we did by going undefeated, we qualified for one of four Regional's throughout the country. We also went undefeated in our regional qualifier beating out states like Ohio, North Dakota, Illinois and Indiana to qualify for the National Championship. That's the good news. The tough part is it takes quite a bit of money to send an entire team to CA for a National Championship. So, this is where I would like to ask for your help. We are looking for sponsors in one of many forms:
Corporate Sponsorship- Perhaps you have a company that would be willing to sponsor our team in an amount from $500-$2000. In return we will put your company's name on our shirts and banner that we will display at the National Championships and all of our locally held games in Kansas City in the coming years.
Individual Sponsorship- We have set up two ways to contribute to our quest to get to California. One, you can send a check, of any donation size, to the address I have listed below. Two, you can go this website and make a donation either on the team's behalf or on behalf of me as an individual player.
Any other ideas or fundraisers you can think of would be much appreciated. We really are going to work hard in raising money and representing the state of Kansas with pride.
