Rise Technician Impacted by Harvey

We have all read about the significant impact that Hurricane Harvey is having in the Houston Metro area.  Rise Broadband provides internet service to residential, SMB and Enteprise customers in this area.  As a result, we have technicians that live and work in this region.  One particular technician, Joseph Perez, was impacted severly by the hurricane.  His roof has sustained major damage that will ultimately require being replaced.  He also has sustained major water damage and currently has standing water throughout his home.  Too soon to completely assess the damage and understand what the total loss will be but, safe to say, it will be significant to Joseph.

We are asking anyone that is willing to help and especially asking our Rise Broadband family to pitch in and help out Joseph in dealing with this catastrophic loss.  Anything you can do to help (large or small) is greatly appreciated.

This fund was setup by Jay Kurtz from Cincinnati, OH.  I am a colleague of Joseph Perez.  100% of the proceeds from this fund will be distributed to Joseph and will be used to cover any out of pocket costs related to the repair and rebuilding of his house. The funds will be distributed either through GoFundMe directly to Joseph or through the purchase of Visa gift cards, Joseph's choice.
