Rise for Randy

I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me- Philippians 4:13

Randy is a Christian, a brother, a friend, and the greatest father to his five children. He is a hard-working, loving, full of life person. He has a great sense of humor and a contagious laugh. He lives for his family and for his grandchildren. As a friend, he is the best.  He is as loyal as they come...always there in times of need and times of fun. He listens with his whole heart.  He is a generous, compassionate, and sincere man.

Randy was involved in a serious motorcycle accident in North Carolina on Friday, July 20th. Thankfully, he was a few miles from a prestigious trauma center. At this time, he is in critical condition, but stable. Yesterday, the team of nurses and doctors working with Randy were able to get an MRI to see the extent of his brain injury. Due to the results of the MRI, the main goal is to get Randy closer to home.  We have seen the power of prayer. He has exceeded expectations and we continue to pray he does.

Randy always tells his children to "Rise to the Challenge" and "Take the little steps to get to the big steps." In this time of unknown and critical care, his family is praying that he will take those sayings into play. He is a man that never gives up. He is a fighter through all of life's obstacles.

Currently, the concerns are the following...
Medical expenses, travel expenses for the family (going from Indiana to North Carolina is going to get overwhelming), and most of all, if insurance can't cover transportation to get Dad back to Indiana we will have to pay out of pocket for that.
