Riscopriamo Padre Giovanni Battista Martini!

Noi siamo l'Ensemble Bolognese SAN PIETRO, un gruppo musicale dedito alla riscoperta della musica antica bolognese (e non solo) che da anni porta avanti progetti ed eventi dedicati alla ricerca, trascrizione esecuzione ed incisione di capolavori perduti della storia della musica antica.

In particolare ci siamo concentrati sulla riscoperta di spartiti provenienti dall'Archivio diocesano arcivescovile della Cattedrale di Bologna, realizzando tra i tanti progetti anche un'incisione con URANIA RECORDS, SACRED LITURGY IN BOLOGNA (Ed.2021) che ha riscosso successo di pubblico e critica (tra le varie recensioni anche 4/5 stelle su Zucchini Febbraio 2022).

Tra i prossimi progetti futuri abbiamo anche in cantiere una pubblicazione con una nota casa editrice musicale (Centro Studi Antoniani, Padova) per il Corpus Musicum Franciscanum - CMF, dove pubblicheremo la ricostruzione dell'Ufficio dei Defunti di Padre Giovanni Battista Martini, a cura del M°Giacomo Contro, direttore artistico del nostro ensemble.

Tale corpus prevede l'Invitatorio dei Defunti, 4 salmi, il Libera Me, Il Cantico di Zaccaria e una intera Messa da Requiem.

Ma il motivo per cui siamo qui è che abbiamo deciso di registrare questo corpus in una esclusiva incisione discografica.

L'ensemble non sarà formato solo dal quartetto vocale, ma anche da una squadra al Basso Continuo, Archi per i brani concertati, e dalla Schola Gregoriana per i brani in alternatim polifonia-gregoriano.

Sarà un unicum, un vero e doveroso omaggio al grande compositore Giovanni Battista Martini, maestro e teorico del '700 che tanto ha fatto per la storia della musica (come non ricordare il suo rapporto con il grande Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart).

E voi potrete aiutarci a realizzare questo grande progetto!

A seconda della donazione che vorrete farci ci sono vari premi:

Per qualunque donazione il nome del donatore sarà inserito nel libretto del disco

Per donazioni superiori a 20,00 € il donatore riceverà in più anche una copia omaggio del disco direttamente a casa.

Per donazioni superiori a 70,00 € il donatore riceverà (una volta pubblicato) un volume cartaceo degli spartiti, e 2 dischi omaggio

Se siete un'attività commerciale, o una associazione che vuole sponsorizzarci con un minimo di 200,00€ avrà il suo logo nel libretto del disco, e 2 dischi omaggio.

Hello everyone!

We are the Ensemble Bolognese SAN PIETRO, a musical group dedicated to the rediscovery of ancient Bolognese music (and beyond) which for years has been carrying out projects and events dedicated to research, transcription, execution and recording of lost masterpieces of the history of ancient music.

In particular, we focused on the rediscovery of scores from the Diocesan Archiepiscopal Archive of the Cathedral of Bologna, realizing among the many projects also an engraving with URANIA RECORDS, SACRED LITURGY IN BOLOGNA (Ed.2021) which met with public and critical acclaim (among the various reviews also 4/5 stars on Zucchini February 2022).

Among the next future projects we also have a publication in the works with a well-known music publishing house (Centro Studi Antoniani, Padua) for the Corpus Musicum Franciscanum - CMF, where we will publish the reconstruction of the Office of the Dead of Father Giovanni Battista Martini, edited by M°Giacomo Contro, artistic director of our ensemble.

This corpus includes the Invitatorio dei Defunti, 4 psalms, the Libera Me, the Canticle of Zacharias and an entire Requiem Mass.

But the reason we are here is that we have decided to record this corpus in an exclusive recording.

The ensemble will not only be formed by the vocal quartet, but also by a team on Basso Continuo, Strings for the concerted pieces, and by the Schola Gregoriana for the pieces in alternatim polyphony-Gregorian chant.

It will be unique, a true and dutiful tribute to the great composer Giovanni Battista Martini, master and theorist of the 18th century who did so much for the history of music (how can we forget his relationship with the great Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart).

Depending on the donation you want to make, there are various prizes:

For any donation, the name of the donor will be included in the record booklet

For donations exceeding € 20.00, the donor will also receive a free copy of the disc directly at home.
