Hi there!

My name is Ally Waschkowski, and I am a third-year Film Production student in the Fiction A stream at York University. I am currently working on my largest and by far most ambitious project yet: Ripple Effect. This short film represents a significant step in my filmmaking journey, and I’m both excited and determined to bring this vision to life.

Ripple Effect tells the story of a young girl (Raine) who supports her sister in coping with the challenges of cancer treatment. The narrative unfolds through Raine's memories of their time together, grappling with moments she can not seem to forget. Through this film, I hope to explore the feeling of being trapped in the past and fighting to move forward.

To bring this vision to life, we are aiming to raise $4,000. This budget will cover essential costs such as location rentals, equipment, transportation, special effects makeup, and craft costs. Every contribution, big or small, brings us closer to making this story a reality. Even a $5 donation will help the incredible cast and crew who are dedicating their time and heart to this project.
