RIP Tommy Rooney

****UPDATE****I am writing to inform everyone who donated to Carol of her tragic loss of her brother Thomas Rooney, that she is extremely grateful!...All funds will be deposited into an account & dispensed properly....I am long time friend of Carol's.... Along with our other friends, Gina Picciolo & Dawn Vacca.... We have tried to help Carol as much as we could.......Now that Tommy has had a proper burial, and his cemetery grass marker has been ordered.....Carol still has money left over and was able to fix her truck that a friend donated to them.....She does recieve an SSI check... with that check and the little  remaining  donation money we are in the process of helping Carol find an affordable place to live.....Again, she cannot thank everybody who donated enough!!...

It saddens me to have to write this...but on behalf of my friend Carol I am reaching out to as many people as I can to ask for a favor....for over 35 years Carol and her brother Tommy have been known as "The Walkers"....they could be seen parked in the Bradlees parking lot...or in the St. Rose cemetery where they took care of their parents graves....more recent years you could find them on the benches by Shoprite or the laundromat in the same shopping center....or late night at the McDonalds on rt 9....but no matter where you saw them they were sure to be together....on October 8 2017, Tommy passed away!....unfortunately due to life's circumstances Carol is unable to give her brother & best friend the kind of funeral he is deserving of....being such prideful people, who never asked for any kind of help or hand outs from anybody it was a difficult decision for her to ask me to help her with this....but sometimes you have no choice but to ask for help....in all their years living the life they have lived they have come across many people from all walks of life....& made an impression on all of them....please find it in your hearts to help lay this kind & humble man to rest the way he deserves....all donations received will be used towards a casket, & burial...on be half of Carol, we thank everybody for their kindness and prayers at this time....RIP Tommy
