Rest In Peace Roger Dacosta

Last week, we were devastated to learn of the passing of our friend Roger Dacosta. Those who knew Roger knew of his passion, his drive, and his magnetic personality—a personality he shared with everyone who was fortunate enough to meet him. Whether it was his love of sneakers, his passion for film, or just shooting the breeze, there were no shortage of topics for conversation with Roger. Everyone whose paths crossed with Roger became a better person for it, and we all strive to take that attitude with us as we remember a man who was taken from us painfully early. 

As well as carrying on Roger's legacy in our own day-to-day lives, Roger's former coworkers at West NYC are trying to raise funds to help assist the family of a man who we loved like a brother. All funds donated will be directed to the Dacosta family to assist with funeral costs leading up to his funeral on Tuesday. We know times are tough right now and it might not be easy to give— that's fine.  Share this post, and take Roger's lessons of love, kindness, and enthusiasm with you into the new year.
