Josh was brilliant at doing impressions of people and copying accents. He'd see the funny side of everything, be it a funny story or an argument. He kept a close circle of friends... who was a close friend? One of the few he would fall out with and then block on messenger..... then turn up 3 days later with no apology asking if you were coming out . Before he went on a night out he'd make an excuse to talk to us in the bedroom while we were watching TV.... squirt himself with Dunk's aftershave then break off the conversation say bye then and disappear.
Cheeky shit he was.
On Sunday the 11th of October 2021 Joshua Kinnie age 22 years old took his own life after suffering with mens mental health unable to see light at the end of a dark tunnel.
13-02-1999 / 11-10-2021.
Josh's family, friends, work colleagues and employer would like to raise funds for a memorial to be placed at Josh's resting place also money to go towards Men's mental health charity's to help prevent anymore lives being lost to this illness. In his mams words .... If we can just stop one more life being taken please help!!
Joshua Kinnie, aged only 22 unfortunately took his own life after a long battle with men's mental health, his family, friends and work would love a memorial and place to always feel close to Josh and any donations to mens mental health to help save as many people battling the same fight Josh did and money to go to Patterdale mountain rescue as a thank you for all they did to help recover Josh.
Joshua was a beautiful boy with endless love for those close to him, it was a laugh a minute to be around him telling rubbish jokes and stupid stories. He could wind you up like no one else and make you smile no matter how bad his own day was, even thinking of those close to him on his very last day with us.
He will always be a deeply missed son, brother, uncle, best friend and colleague, in just 22 years hes left us stories for a life time and a memories we will treasure forever.
Mental health is a serious illness, not a one that comes with symptoms but with serious effects, your own mind being your constant battle that unfortunately Joshua lost to, raising funds could help stop just one more life being taken.
No visible symptoms, no runny nose, just a head full of darkness, no fever or rash, no fractures or strains, just a longing of something, unable to explain. Men's mental health is no joke its hear its now.
"I think the saddest people
always try their hardest to
make people happy. Because
they know what it feels like to
feel absolutely worthless and
they don't want anyone else
to feel like that."
