In Memory of David Mitchell (Fizz)

It’s with the heaviest of hearts that we come to have to write this.

David Mitchell aka Fizz was a mere 36 years of age when he was suddenly and tragically taken from us on 24th April 2020 as a result of a fatal motor cycle accident.

As his family and loved ones continue to reel from the shock and grief of this situation we would still like you to understand a little more about the wonderful man that David was.

Born to parents Sandra and David, he was a beautiful big bright eyed boy. He was the youngest sibling to Joanne and Nadine, and his sisters are understandably heartbroken at this time and forever shall be.

He also leaves behind his beautiful life partner Kelly and his three lovely sons, Trai (21), Mekhi (11) and Jacob (5). We are now trying to come to terms with life without him and it’s a pain we have never ever experienced.

David was such a strong family man and often spoke of how strong the bond was within his very close family. He adores his nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was loved by so many.

His cheeky personality, infectious smile and hilarious sense of humour saw that so.

But he was also kind and fair and you could see the love in his beautiful brown eyes when he smiled.

We are completely broken by his untimely passing and quite frankly will never recover.

We should have had him to enjoy for another 40-50 years. Sadly that wasn’t gods plan for him.

You can never be prepared for a loss such as this one but particularly when he was so young still.

David is a beloved son, brother, partner, father, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend and nothing will really ever ease the pain that we feel.

We know many people want to help and have no idea how to. If you wish to contribute to help the family at this tragic time. It will be gratefully received with hearts full of pain. David was the main provider for his family, sometime working triple shifts to provide for his family. Kelly is a full-time carer for their son Jacob who has non-verbal autism.

Nothing will ever bring our David back. Our priority now is to keep his memory alive for always.

Ride high our love.

We will never be whole again.
