SMC Foundation Ring in the New Year

The SMC Educational Foundation seeks funding for resiliency programs to support the mental well-being of highly vulnerable, financially strapped populations, including:
·       Veterans in Santa Rosa, especially those who have suffered traumatic brain injury and/or PTSD

·       Bay Area Adults living with traumatic brain injury and stroke

·       Teen athletes from the high-risk community of Richmond, CA

100% of donations go directly to the clients we serve in the form of teacher pay or equipment. All administrative fees are covered by the Stress Management Center of Marin in Larkspur, CA.

We have been supporting the Schurig Center for Brain Injury Recovery and Veterans in Santa Rosa for over a decade. We currently offer over 6 classes per week to these vulnerable populations. Our annual budget is $32,000 which, again, does not include any administrative fees.

Our Ring in the New Year campaign allows our donors to receive the tax benefit in 2017. We invite you to Ring in the New Year with support for these important local programs! Thank you!
