<div>Ka kaluar pak më shumë se një vit që kur Rinesa ndau për herë të parë me botën lajmin se ishte diagnostikuar me një tumor agresiv në tru. Një lajm që ia përmbysi plotësisht jetën asaj dhe njerëzve të saj më të afërt. Që atëherë, Rinesa ka kaluar tri cikle të trajtimit me rrezatim. Siç mund ta imagjinoni, kjo ka lënë pasoja të mëdha tek ajo, si fizikisht ashtu edhe mendërisht.

<div>Cilësia e jetës së Rinesës është ndikuar ndjeshëm nga kjo sëmundje. Një nga pasojat më të rënda të gjendjes së saj ka qenë humbja e funksionit në anën e majtë të trupit (gati 80%) — një ndryshim i madh që ia ka vështirësuar ndjeshëm lëvizjen, pavarësinë dhe jetën e përditshme. Përveç kufizimit të lëvizshmërisë, edhe shikimi i Rinesës është prekur rëndë, duke bërë që edhe aktivitete të zakonshme, si shikimi i një programi televiziv, të jenë herë pas here të padurueshme për shkak të turbullimit në rritje të shikimit, marramendjes dhe ndjeshmërisë së skajshme ndaj dritës.

<div>Megjithëse ky ka qenë pa dyshim viti më i vështirë i jetës së Rinesës, ai ka qenë gjithashtu një vit që ia ka kujtuar sa e dashur dhe e mbështetur është, si dhe sa ndikim vazhdon të ketë jeta dhe arti i saj tek të tjerët. Në emër të Rinesës dhe familjes së saj, ju falënderojmë nga zemra për çdo shprehje dashurie, besimi dhe mbështetjeje që keni treguar gjatë kësaj kohe.

<div>Fatkeqësisht, beteja e Rinesës ende nuk ka përfunduar. Rezonanca e saj më e fundit magnetike (MRI) ka treguar se tumori është përhapur dhe është rritur në madhësi. Ky lajm do të thotë se Rinesa duhet të fillojë kimioterapinë — një formë shumë më agresive trajtimi. Ajo aktualisht po përgatit trupin, mendjen dhe shpirtin e saj për sfidat e mëdha që e presin.

<div>It has been just over a year since Rinesa first shared the news with the world that she was diagnosed with an aggressive brain tumour. News that completely shook her world and those close to her upside down. Rinesa has undergone 3 rounds of radiation treatment since then. As you can imagine, this has taken a huge toll on her, both physically and mentally.

<div>Rinesa's quality of life has been significantly impacted by this disease. One of the most severe consequences of Rinesa's condition has been the loss of function on the left side of her body (almost 80%)—a major change that has made her movement, independence, and daily life much more difficult. Along with lack of mobility, Rinesa’s vision has been incredibly impacted, making something as mundane as watching a television show at times unbearable due to her increasing blurred vision, dizziness and extreme sensitivity to light.

<div>Although, this has been without a doubt the hardest year of Rinesa's life, it has also been a year reminding her of how loved and supported she is and how much her life and art remains impactful to the world. From Rinesa and her family, we thank you all deeply for every act of love, faith and support you have shown during this time.

<div>Unfortunately, Rinesa's battle is not yet over. Her most recent MRI scan has shown that the tumor has spread and increased in size. This news means that Rinesa will have to begin chemotherapy - a much more aggressive form of treatment. She is currently preparing her body, mind and spirit for the uphill battle ahead.

<div>This news also means that she now faces a new set of challenges and requires additional care.
</div>

<div>The support she received at the beginning was vital in helping her take the first steps toward recovery. However, the daily costs of living, medications, and supportive treatments continue to rise day by day, especially in Ontario, where Rinesa and her family resides. 
</div>

<div>Rinesa is expected to begin chemotherapy some time this month, and this treatment is expected to be extremely demanding on her body, mind, and spirit.
</div>

<div>For this reason, every detail matters. From alternative herbs and medicines to keep her immunity strong, to clean, preservative-free foods, to day-to-day living expenses. It is crucial that in this current season of Rinesa’s fight that she is able to take on whatever comes her way with as much ease as possible.

<div>Every donation brings her one step closer to recovery and to successfully completing chemotherapy.
