Hi, Amy here, mum to Riley, a 17-year-old with his sights set on his future in American Football Australia. Riley has been playing American football in Adelaide, SA, with the Adelaide University Eagles for roughly five years now. During this time, he has shown true talent as the team’s quarterback. Each year, Riley continues to refine his skills, and this year he was named the state’s All-Star quarterback. After coming off the back of an incredible undefeated season with the Eagles, Riley secured himself a spot as QB in the state team again this year, where he was also named captain. From there, for the second year in a row, Riley has been selected to represent Australia, doing what he lives and breathes - American football! In 2025, Riley was named captain and QB of the Australian U/16s team, where the team took home the win against Pasifika All-Stars To keep Riley progressing in the right direction and help him reach his goals, we are fundraising to ensure he makes it to New Zealand to represent Australia with pride—something we know he will do.
