Riley's Battle Against Leukemia

Hello! I am raising funds to help support my brother, Riley Stanhope, through his battle with AML. This year Riley turned 30 and just a few months after his birthday,  he was given a diagnosis that no one could have prepared for. Riley is a kind and gentle soul, he loves animals and is great with kids. Riley has been my guardian for as long as I can remember, always looking out for little sis, letting me tag along with him and his friends and teaching me things like tying my shoes or how to play games with him. Riley enjoys learning, reading fantasy fiction, playing video games and is learning to program his own game. He also likes anything to do with vikings and even grew out a long red viking beard before cancer took it from him.  Like most, 2020 has been a difficult year. In late June, Riley was suddenly diagnosed with Acute myeloid leukemia after a kidney stone sent him to the ER. He was transferred the next day to OHSU (Oregon Health & Science University) for immediate treatment for his cancer. Since June, Riley has completed five rounds of chemotherapy. Riley's doctors say it will be at least 6 months before he can go back to work and even then he will have restrictions. It has been a slow process in getting alternative assistance such as Social Security, and he is now at a point where he needs help paying for bills starting immediately, including paying his insurance premium so that he can keep his coverage during this treatment. Our family doesn't have much and we have lived a quiet life. We would greatly appreciate anything that is shared with him. We are looking to raise three months worth of funds to assist Riley in paying for living and medical expenses through March, in hopes that we will have updates from his doctors on when he may return to work.
