<div>On July 2, 2024, Rigo went in for what was supposed to be a simple procedure — having a stent placed in a artery. What should have been a routine day quickly turned into a tragedy. During the procedure, Rigo suffered a cardiac arrest and was pronounced dead.

<div>Miraculously, after several minutes, doctors were able to bring him back to life. Against all odds and by the grace of God Rigo miraculously walked out of the hospital in August. Proving just how strong and determined he is.
</div>

<div>Unfortunately, the ordeal left lasting damage. His only functioning kidney was severely affected, and he is now in end-stage kidney failure, requiring dialysis three times a week to stay alive. The next step in his journey is a life-saving kidney transplant — but the surgery and treatment are taking place in Minnesota, hundreds of miles away from home.

<div>This means Rigo faces tremendous financial strain — including travel expenses, lodging, and meals during the preparation and recovery process. A lot of these expenses falls directly on him.
</div>

<div>Through everything, Rigo has remained positive and grateful, continuing to fight with courage and faith. He’s been given a second chance at life once already, and now he needs our help to get another — through this transplant.
