SourPuss’ 3rd surgery to correct patella

SourPuss had both her patella’s surgically fixed.  The left one one held at a grade 1 of 4, the right leg was too bowed.  It failed. It’s going to have a bone cut & pinned to keep the knee in place.  I had previously taken a loan out to pay for her surgery, as well as Maddie’s.  As some people are aware, $1000 was stolen from me by a ‘rescue person’. There is a court case pending, but even when winning, I don’t see collecting anytime soon, it’s been ongoing since last September.  In addition Madison was diagnosed with IBD recently and had vet bills and diet supplements to get that under control.  

SourPuss gets one rehab visit with her surgery, but will require more for the best outcome for this surgery.  I will post updates on how she is progressing, rehab will be about 8 weeks, she has lost a lot of muscle in that leg.

Surgery is scheduled for June 9th, and may  be moved up if something opens sooner.  This has been a long 6  months for SP, first surgery was 1/15, so we will be so thankful for prayers, & good thoughts that this will be her LAST surgery and she will be on her way to enjoying life fully again!
