Rifka’s Fight Tribe

Everyone remembers where they were the moment something happens in your life that suddenly changes everything. You remember what you were doing moments before you hear ‘those’ words. What you were wearing, whether it was daytime or nighttime, who was around you and then BAM all of a sudden everything else is a blur. You’re numb and trying to catch your mind up to the words you just heard. That’s what happened to my dear friend, Rifka. Rifka was recently diagnosed with Stage 2 Triple Negative breast cancer, one of the rarest types of breast cancer. She will be undergoing aggressive treatment, surgery and radiation in her quest to beat this disease. 

For those of us who know Rifka, we know her as a kind, caring, nurturing, optimistic, and go-getter person, friend, mother and wife. She’s the first person you call when you need help figuring out life, sickness in your family, transportation help for your kids, career advice.... or a graduation party.

Now it’s our turn to be there for Rifka. Medical bills are already starting to come in with many more on their way. Let’s rally together as ‘Rifka’s Fight Tribe’ and help take the burden of the expense of treatment off her and her sweet family’s shoulders.
