<div>El 3 de octubre de este año tuve un grave accidente que cambió mi vida por completo. Mientras iba en bicicleta camino al trabajo, un automóvil me atropelló, haciendo que cayera con fuerza. El conductor se dio a la fuga, y ese momento marcó el inicio de uno de los capítulos más duros de mi vida.

<div>Como resultado del impacto, mi mandíbula quedó completamente fracturada y perdí varios dientes. Desde entonces he atravesado un proceso de recuperación muy doloroso, tanto física como emocionalmente.

<div>El 10 de octubre me realizaron mi primera cirugía para reconstruir la mandíbula, y el 3 de noviembre debo someterme a una segunda intervención.
</div>

<div>Lamentablemente, no tengo seguro médico, y los gastos han sido extremadamente altos. Hasta ahora, las facturas médicas ascienden a unos $27,000, sin contar los tratamientos y procedimientos que aún están pendientes.

<div>Vivo con dolor constante. No puedo abrir completamente la boca —incluso bostezar duele—. Los tornillos que sostienen mi mandíbula generan presión, y a veces siento que los dientes van a estallar. Incluso el pequeño consumo de alimentos líquidos que puedo ingerir me causa un dolor intenso, porque los nervios de mis dientes fracturados están expuestos.

<div>Esta es solo la primera fase de mi recuperación. Una vez que mi mandíbula sane, comenzaré la siguiente etapa: la reconstrucción dental, que también será larga y costosa.

<div>A pesar del dolor, la incertidumbre y los días solitarios llenos de preocupación, he sentido la presencia de Dios guiándome en todo momento. Este camino no es solo de sanación física, sino también de sanación espiritual.

<div>Incluso en los momentos en que mi fe ha flaqueado, he sentido que el Señor me sostiene, y esa fuerza es la que me mantiene de pie.
