I have been a business owner since 2013. Started driving UBER and LYFT part-time this year because I was intrigued by the platform and the growth of this concept. I saw their problem early on. The drivers are not treated as partners only as method for profit. Majority of rideshare drivers struggle to carve out a suitable profit. The real winner...UBER and LYFT.
In October 2019 I am launching Explore Grand Rapids to satisfy a demand for things to do in Grand Rapids without all the planning. As easy as a click of a button. Explore Grand Rapids City Activity Packages includes transportation, dinner or lunch, activity or event.
Our original plan is to use UBER and LYFT to provide all the transportation for the city activity packages that we sell.
After some research found an IT company that could duplicate or improve the UBER and LYFT App and providing better service with lower fares. Long and behold RIDE LOCAL was born "We Drive People Happy".
My problem is with launching Explore Grand Rapids it is not in our budget to add Rideshare. The cost of the app development is $4,999.00. Currently I am independently funding the development of RIDE LOCAL App.
This would enable us to add our own RIDE LOCAL drivers that would also receive independent transportation rides to make additional income. Second phase would be to teach them how to build their businesses by using RIDE LOCAL as a platform. Our payout would significant higher than UBER or LYFT pays out. RIDE LOCAL plans is to help develop independent business owners (drivers) develop financial independence.
If totally funded Free RIDE LOCAL Rideshare ride passes will be distributed based on your donation.
