Rides and Reins is a Therapeutic Riding Center in Slinger, Wisconsin for children with disabilities (autism, brain injuries, Cerebral Palsy, Downs Syndrome, MS, MD, Spina Bifida, spinal cord injuries and more).
Rides and Reins provides these handicap riders with physical, emotional and cognitive needs through the therapeutic effects of horseback riding. Did you know that the walking gait of the horse simulates the movement of a person walking on two legs? During a therapeutic riding session, these actions relax and stimulate unused muscles while actually building muscle tone, improving balance, coordination as well as patience and self esteem for these special needs riders.
The Town of Polk is requiring this bathroom and septic be built for the facility to continue operations. Please help fund this worthy cause.
