Support us to create a world where everyone has access to cycling
For 16 years Bikeworks, a community-based organisation, has been providing access to cycling at the popular All-Ability Clubs, where disabled people have the opportunity to increase their physical activity, well-being, and meet other people. The clubs are in high demand, providing adapted cycles in parks across London, supported by friendly and skilled instructors.
This year long-standing members, Zubee, Mark and Jamie, are taking on the Ride London 30 mile challenge to increase the visibility of inclusive cycling while raising funds for more adapted cycles.
The trio said ‘This is an amazing opportunity, as 3 people with varying levels of Cerebral Palsy, having the help and support of the Bikeworks team and the use of their adapted cycles we will be to take part in such an iconic event.’
"I'm really excited to be supporting Jamie, Mark and Zubee at Ride London. Their positivity and determination to take on this challenge is a massive inspiration. Let's just hope I can keep up..! "
"Please help turn a 30-mile ride into a small step on the way to making it possible for everyone to cycle'. "
The event takes place on Sunday 29th May 2022, and our wish is to raise the funds for two new adapted cycles, a target of £2,000.
The additional cycles will provide more choice and support to even more people in discovering the joy of cycling.
Our 30-mile route starts at Victoria Embankment, towards Essex, with this epic ride finishing at Tower Bridge.
Any amount received is greatly appreciated and we’ll keep you updated as we complete our training and get ready for the day.
