Ride for Rosie

Donation protected
Hey Folks.

Here are my beautiful twin nieces Rose and Lily. Just a few weeks ago, cheeky little Rosie (the cutie on the right) was diagnosed with large cell lymphoma, just weeks shy of the girl's 4th birthday. As a parent, I can't imagine the pain, and as a proud uncle, I want to do my bit for Rosie, Lily and her wonderful mum and dad. I can't take away the pain that comes with the battle Rosie and her family have ahead, but I want to help ease the burden of financial stress that a cancer diagnosis sadly brings.

So, on 6th September 2020, my best mate and I will be dusting off our mountain bikes, putting on our best lycra suits (if you're lucky) and hitting the Oodnadatta Track for a 600km ride from Marla to Maree, South Australia.

It'll be tough, but nowhere near as tough as the journey Rosie is on.

I know Rosie has a huge team of supporters cheering her on, and I'm calling on your love and support to help me raise some funds along the way.

Our goal is to help the family with temporary accommodation near the Brisbane Children's Hospital in between treatments and to ease the strain of everyday life.

For now, please watch this space for updates along the way.

Time to get back on that bike. See you on the track.

Cheers,
Lee
