Rides For Reform

As protesters have gathered in cities across the US to peacefully protest the unjust treatment of our black citizens at the hands of the police, we have seen them use bicycles as barriers and weapons against the people they have been sworn to protect. I am calling upon the cycling community to come together and ride for reform, to show the world that bicycle are a symbol of freedom and happiness and NOT a tool for oppression.

A $20 donation is recommended, but by all means whatever you can afford is valued! The challenge is to complete 8,460ft of elevation as soon as you can. I suggest you log your rides (Strava, trailforks,Garmin, etc.), post and share through social media. You can do road miles or mountain but however  you choose to do it, it should be difficult, it should hurt, and while you ride I encourage you to reflect on how lucky you are to be able to choose your pain, not everyone can be so lucky.

100% of all funds raised will be donated evenly to groups for social and policy reform including:
Campaign Zero
The Marshall Project
NAACP Legal Defense Fund
Color of Change

Please share #RidesForReform and lets show the world what bikes can do!
