My name is Desiree Ridder. I am 25 years old and today something that happened to me that I wouldn't wish upon anyone.
Today (Thursday July 23rd, 2020) I had to walk into my child hood home burned and covered in soot. I had to watch my parents distraught as they see everything they worked so hard to get in life be taken away from them right in front of me. I had to witness my mom lose 3 out of the 4 cats that she loved dearly and had to watch her euthanize one in a vets office.
Today was one of the hardest days of my life. As I sit here and reflect on things I can't help but to think how amazingly blessed I am to be able to have all of my family members safe from this tragedy.
Coming from a family that is very blunt turning to Go Fund Me isn't the easiest to do and I know they wont be to keen on this but I look up to my father so much. He has the hardest work ethic I know and has done so much for us children and his wife such as providing this wonderful house for us to grow up in. Because of that I am asking for any help as possible to help them get back what they once called home. They've been fronted with bills including one from the emergency vet to help bring the 4th cat back up to health to still have some since of normalcy to their lives right now.
Anything is appreciated and even if you don't donate whatever you take from this post please hug your fur babies tighter tonight, check all of your power strips in your house, and appreciated everything that is around you.
