Ricky Tempesta and Family need our help!

Whether you know him as Frederick, Fred, or Ricky, there's no doubt that we all know Ricky Tempesta as a guy who is there for any one, any time, any place, for any reason. It's time for us to return the favor and help out the Tempesta family in their time of need.

Ricky went to the hospital earlier this month for a routine procedure that did not go as planned. He had to spend some time in the ICU and was discharged home. Several days later he woke up with severe shortness of breath and was emergently taken back to the hospital with the help of the Verona Rescue Squad and Verona PBA. He was found to have large bilateral pulmonary emboli and blood clots in both of his legs. He had to have another procedure to remove the blood clots from his lungs and will be spending some more time in the ICU. Ricky is still in the hospital and has a long road to recovery ahead.

As you can imagine, this all adds up on top of bills, child care, and other expenses. Ricky won't be able to return to work for at least 3 months as a result of these medical issues with little to no PTO remaining after the birth of Gabriella, and Melissa doesn't return back to work until the Fall when school starts back up again. So we need to help this amazing family out as much as we can.

Ricky and his family are well known for their countless hours of dedication to the Verona Rescue Squad and now they need our help.
