In Memory of Ricardo (Ricky) Smith
It is with great sadness that we inform our membership of the passing of Ricardo (Ricky) Smith. Ricky was a line cook at the Sarasota Yacht Club for almost four years and was an excellent employee and co-worker. His easy -going manner and fun loving attitude made him a pleasure to everyone who worked with him.
Ricky was on his way to work the morning of Easter Sunday and was tragically killed in a head on collision. We would like to help his two young daughters and his family from Jamaica with the unexpected financial challenges they now face. We ask for your support in our fundraising efforts to help cover their expenses. We have set up a Go Fund Me account where your donation can be made online. Ricky left behind his Fiance, Shannon Menaldino and 2 daughters. Shannon has set up a trust fund for each child which she will ensure these funds with be directed to.
