Ricky was a healthy active 24 year old who enjoyed golfing, off road racing, and hanging out with friends.
On October 19th 2018 he was sent to the hospital with very high blood pressure and later kidney failure. He was diagnosed with an
Autoimmune disease named: Atypical Hemolytic Uremic Syndrome (aHUS).
On January 1st 2019 he was diagnosed with full Kidney Failure. In April 2019 we started the process at the Mayo Clinic in Phoenix to get Ricky added to the Kidney Transplant list.

The pre-testing to see if you are a match is free of charge at the Mayo Clinic and Ricky’s insurance will pay for the transplant. If you are NOT a match and still would like to donate your kidney there are options. Your kidney will go to matched individual on the transplant list and Ricky will take their place, bringing him to the TOP of the list.
Recovery time for a kidney transplant is three to eight weeks. During this time, it will be VERY important that Ricky is closely monitored. The Mayo Clinic stresses that he will need to have a 6-week 24hrs a day caregiver, the Mayo Clinic will NOT accept you for a transplant until your caregiver is approved by their Social Worker.
We are raising money to help cover medical co-pays, prescriptions, care-giving, and cost-of-living expenses for Ricky, his living donor, and caregiver. OUR GOAL is $20,000.00.
Each day on dialysis is deteriorating Ricky’s health: slowed bone growth deformities, heart and blood vessel problems. We need to GET him a KIDNEY!! Please help us on our MISSION to GET RICKY’s HEALTHY again!!
