Ricky Gilbert Memorial Fund
Just yesterday we were pleading for help in finding our "Unk", "Uncle Ricky, "Rick", "Daddy", & "Brother". Hundreds of you shared our plea, prayed with us, and hoped with us and for us to find him.
God's plan was not for us to find him and bring him home, but for him to go to his forever home, one where he would no longer suffer, no longer be weary, and most importantly, where he could join his parents. We are all so saddened by this sudden loss, but feel blessed for all the love we feel from each other and all the love and support coming from our friends and the community.
For those of you who are asking for a way to help, and would like to help with the expenses the girls will be faced with, we are offering this gofundme.
The donations will go toward all expenses for his memorial. If there are any remaining funds, we then plan to start individual savings for each of his grandchildren. (We think this is what he would wish for). Travis (Gilbert) and I will see to it that the donations are handled appropriately and in a manner that would make Uncle Ricky proud.
Our family is blessed beyond measure, we are so grateful to have such a strong bond and huge support system.
The girls are very appreciative of all the support, love and comfort they are receiving from each of you. Please keep them, their beautiful babies, our parents, and all of us in prayer.
