Help Rick with his fight

My brother Rick a former National Guard Member and a graduate of Eau Claire Memorial High School and a  Chippewa Falls Technical College was diagnosed with diabetes about 3 years ago, he started out with medication and finally progressed to insulin.  He's had a hard time to this day getting it under control.  He has a work position where he is always on his feet which sometimes doesn't allow his feet to heal properly from ulcers due to his diabetes. He loves his job, coworkers and in general loves to work and his great boss has made it more comfortable work environment for him to try and help but he needs to be off his feet.  Since the first of the year he had a big toe amputation along with the partial side of his foot.  Today he also had a surgical procedure to remove 2 pieces of bones in two different toes that had infections due again to his diabetes.  His doctor told me today after the procedure that he wanted Rick to stay off his feet as much as possible no matter what(this includes not working for a period of time) and this is his real last time to try to get his feet healed up or another possible amputation of his foot, not a thing a family member wants to hear for gosh sakes.  My wife and I are going to help as much as we can financially (paying his rent for 6 months and some other expenses) and to get him to his appointments (as he will be very limited in driving for a period of time).  We've spent over $7000 this year with his medical expenses out of pocket and now we will have to help him in his day to day expenses.  He wants to go to work next week and we and his Dr. said NO WAY.   We want him to finally get healed up but might need some help.  This is very difficult for me to do but when you are concerned and love someone you will do what you need to do so I'm asking for my brother for some help to take away some of his worries financially and concerns about getting things to help him get around easier, so he can focus on what he needs to focus on and that is getting better.  In encourage anyone to google Diabetic Amutations and foot ulcers (to graphic to put on here, this is what he's been dealing with)Thanks to everyone for their kind words and their concerns it means a great deal to our entire family especially Rick.
