Rick's Nullarbor Ride - Grow Fit Fund

Rick Warren, Founder of We Make a Difference is completing a 24-day bike ride across the Nullarbor from Perth to Adelaide to fundraise for four different charities.
The We Make a Difference Nullarbor ride will run as a 24-day bike ride averaging 140km per day. Not only is the trip demanding but has been the months of training preparation prior to the trip.
One of the charities that the proceeds will be donated to is Grow Fit Fund. By offering funds for sports programs and other organised activities in disadvantaged areas in Australia, Grow Fit Fund aims to bring communities together and create a positive impact in children’s lives.
In Australia, 17.7 percent of children under the age of 15 live below the poverty line. This has a significant effect on education, health and mental wellbeing. Aiming to change the lives of kids in need, the Grow Fit Fund takes care of the financial burden of organised sport, so children and families can focus on the good stuff.
Donations for Grow Fit Fund will go towards setting up new teams for kids, offering sponsorship and scholarship funding for those who require it and support entire teams or schools in gaining access to funds, equipment, training and apparel.
