Rick Celmer's Brain Tumor Battle

Rick Celmer is the sole breadwinner for his homeschooling wife and family of four children, two of whom have special needs.  

On Saturday February 24, Rick passed out.  At first, the family thought it was a complication of the flu; however, testing revealed a cancerous brain tumor.  Rick's tumor is larger than a golf ball and ingrown into his brain.  On Monday, March 5, Rick will be having surgery to remove the tumor.  But that's just the beginning of the battle.  Rick has a long road ahead, recovering from this major surgery, chemo treatments, etc.

How can you help?

1 - Pray!!!  We serve a prayer-answering God!!!!  He will not fail us nor forsake us.

2 - Donate.  This is the only fundraising site the family will be using, and they have serious immediate financial needs.
