"The Music of Rick Britto" will be a CD recording honoring the memory and music of jazz performer, educator, and composer Rick Britto (1955-2012)
There are seven musicians on this project, Marcelle Gauvin, Dino Govoni, Chris Poudrier, Matt Richard, Jim Robitaille, Danny Schwartz, and Dave Zinno. We all knew and performed with Rick Britto. We are all dedicated to preserving his music through this project. We will carefully choose from among his favorite songs, practice them individually and collectively until the music is well-prepared for recording. The music studio run by sound engineer and musician Peter Kontrimas will provide the perfect setting for completing this recording with the best possible sound and spirit. The end result will hopefully produce a work-of-art tribute to Rick Britto.

"¢The funding and the project are not guaranteed unless the entire goal is reached
"¢1000 copies of the disc will be printed and donated to the Frank Monteiro Scholarship fund
"¢100% of the money from sales of the CD will go towards the Frank Monteiro Scholarship fund
