Rick Livingston

Rick Livingston has been a long time resident of Conroe who for years ran his own paint and body shop.  He has spent most of his life bringing joy to others through helping restore and painting anitque cars.  He has been an avid car club member of serveral clubs around Conroe and loved driving his beloved Dodge.   Several years ago Rick was diagnosed with a brain tumor and went thru surgery.  During the last few years, as a result of the tumor Rick has progressively lost his eyesight.  He is no longer able to drive or work.  During the Christmas holidays Rick was found incoherient at his home as the result of a seizure.  Currently he has been diagnosed with multiple new brain tumors and will be enduring a 12 hour surgery .  His prognosis is not a good one, he will have a very long road ahead of him.  At this time he has not been approved for social security and has not been able to work for quite some time.  With no source of income he is going to need lots of help financially and all of your prayers.  Anything you can do would be greatly appreciated.

Hello! This is Rick’s daughter Miki here. I have the pleasure of writing up this little something here today because my dad is fortunate enough to have friends that want to step up and help him. If you know my dad then you know he has brain tumors. Well they’re back, they’re bigger and causing more problems this time. The tumors are slowly taking away what little eye sight he has left leaving him almost completely blind. Being able to see is kind of an important thing in his line of work. Restoring old cars is something he’s extremely good at, but more importantly loves. We’re not sure about the road ahead of him but it will be a long and challenging one. Hospital bills, medication, home health and who knows what else are not cheap. If you are willing to donate and help him out we would forever be grateful, but prayers mean just as much. Everyone knows the power of prayer can do wonderful things! Thank you and God Bless!
