Rick Ellis Memorial Fund

It saddens me to announce the passing of our friend Rick Ellis. Sometime in the early morning of October 26th, 2016 Rick took his own life. He has been depressed and angry at the impending loss of his and Annette's home on Lake Diversion. Earlier this year Rick and Annette received shocking news that their lease would not be renewed and they had to have their house, belongings and everything else removed from the property that they have called home for the last 10 years . If you werent aware the property they live on was sold by the Waggoner Estates to Billionare business man Stan Kroenke. He has served an eviction notice to all the residents of Lake Diversion. The famly home is made of stone and is not able to be moved. All the hard work and sweat put into it will be forever lost. Rick had no life insurance and little to no savings. Annette is left not only with the loss of her husband but also the added burden of finding a new place to live. Rick also left behind his son Brad. Unfortunately this will probaly not be the last tragic news we see from residents there. The lake was home to many elderly and disabled people. Lets all band together and support Annette in this time of saddness.
